Christmas Cards · Die Cutting · greeting cards · Thematic Cards

Hello everyone! Christmas is around the corner. This is the season to be more crafty so once again I am here to share with you another card for the holidays.

Holiday Christmas Card @creativemuseatwork

For this card, I used a Christmas theme stamp of cute critters and I colored them with cool colors of blue, white and a touch of gold to add some color.

This card is very simple to create. I used a white cardstock for the base measuring 8.25″ x 5.5″ scored and folded in half. I also used a pattern paper which I created using Adobe illustrator. It is very difficult to see in the pictures how it looks but it has gold and blue snowflakes in light blue background. I might use this pattern on another project.

The blue background for the critters measures 5″ x 2.75″. You can shorten the size of the blue cardstock considering that this is only a background for the critters and some parts of it will be covered by the two white panel. I also used a strip of gold for the lace linings and black cardstock for the sentiment.

I stamped and colored the critters using my Winsor & Newton Promarkers and die cut the stamp.

I also die cut two strip of gold cardstock for the lace lining.

I heat embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment on a black cardstock and cut it in to a small strip.

To assemble the card, I adhere the snowflakes pattern paper on the white card base and the blue cardstock a bit closer in the middle.

To add more dimension, I used foam adhesive to adhere the two white panels on top and bottom of the card to make a window for the blue background then I glued the two gold strip to create a lace border for the blue cardstock.

To finish the card, I used foam dot adhesive to adhere the stamp on the blue cardstock and the sentiment below the gold lace border. Using my white Sakura Gel Pen, placed dots of white snowflakes on top of the critters.

Picture Perfect Camera Die Cut Card

Hi there! Welcome to my blog. It has been a while since I posted. I have been very busy and sick for the past few weeks and I needed time to recuperate and do some other stuff. Today, I want to share with you a simple card with a cute photography theme using a camera die cut. This die comes with several dies to form a camera. I also used a stamp from The Greeting Farm clear stamps. I choose the couple doing a selfie which is just perfect for the theme of this project.

I used several different colors of cardstocks, 1 yellow checkered pattern paper and a red glitter foam for the red heart in front of the camera. You can use whatever colors you want. I also my Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Memento Tuxedo Dye Ink, Touch Markers, foam adhesive dots and tape runner.

First, I stamped and colored the couple selfie stamp in a white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Dye Ink and Touch Markers then I die cut the cardtocks. I used a small square die cut to cut the couple selfie stamp and another one with a bigger size on a brown cardstock.

I scored the folds and glued the cardstocks of the camera like a gate-fold card. To assemble the portrait inside, I glued the white cardstock on top of the brown paper and adhere it inside. I placed the red glitter border die cut on each of the corners of the white cardstocks. I adhere the picture perfect sentiment below the stamp with a foam tape added dimension.

To finish the card, I glued circle die cuts on the front on each side of the folds. I have to make sure that they are aligned then I placed the red glitter heart in the center to lock the card.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like this project. See you next time and have a great week ahead!
